Two new trailers for two of fall's upcoming films have arrived. The first is one that looks great to me. It's 50/50, the cancer dramedy that's gotten some buzz. Enough buzz that it's gonna premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The second trailer is much shorter than the last and has a little more comedy to it (including a Doogie Howser shoutout, Yeah!!!). It opens in theatres September 30th.

And then there's Footloose, the Craig Brewer-directed remake of the 1984 classic, which I still feel is kind of unnecessary. It stars Kenny Wormald (funny last name, but who's he?), Julianne Hough (can she even act?), Dennis Quaid (who's been in everything lately) and Andie MacDowell. Like 50/50, this second trailer is shorter than the other and kinda has more things than dance (talking, fighting, etc.). Even though I feel the remake is kind of unnecessary, I guess it looks promising. We'll see what happens when the film hits theatres October 14th.
